Kent College Choirs perform Fauré’s Requiem and ‘The heavens are telling’ from Hadyn’s Creation. Robin plays orchestral organ.
Robin gives a short solo recital, which follows on from choral evensong. Entrance is free with a retiring collection.
This concert will include the World Premiere of Frederick Frahm’s Babbitt Sonata. This three-movement work is inspired by ‘Babbitt’ written by Sinclair Lewis in 1922.
Music to celebrate the newly restored Norman & Beard organ of St Mary’s church, Cheveley. Robin will perform a mixed programme to show off the organ to it’s very best, with lots for everyone to enjoy.
The evening starts at 6.30pm with drinks and a chance to meet Robin, and then the concert at 7pm will last approximately 90 minutes without interval. Robin will introduce the music and the organ during the concert, and audience can watch everything projected onto a large screen.

Robin accompanies singers from The King’s School Canterbury on the fabulous Klais organ in a concert performance of Maurice Duruflé’s sublime Requiem, conducted by William Bersey, Head of Music at the school.
Duruflé sets the Gregorian chant for the Requiem mass and weaves it into a rich and evocative soundscape for contemplation and prayer.
Robin teaches organ at The King’s School Canterbury, and regularly plays for school services in Canterbury Cathedral.
Robin accompanies the City of Canterbury Chamber Choir in two favourite French settings of the Requiem, by Maurice Duruflé and Gabriel Fauré, conducted by Peter Futcher

Robin conducts Cantate in a programme inspired by the Paris Olympics, with music from around the world.
Robin, with organ pupils from Woodbridge school and newly appointed Director of Music of St Mary’s James Davy, give a special organ concert at St Mary’s Woodbridge. The evening starts with drinks at 7pm, followed by an hour of music at 7.30pm. Entry is free, and you are invited to donate generously to the new Organ Prize fund for Woodbridge School, to promote and encourage organ study in the school.
Music will include Messaien, Bach, Arvo Pärt and Holst and plenty more.

Bring the whole family to the fantastic Corn Exchange for a fun and festive Christmas concert. ICS are joined by Martlesham Brass, and singers from Northgate High School and Sidegate Primary. Traditional carols and music from Frozen the Musical and everything in between!

I’m playing organ with the Stord con Spirito Women’s voices choir in a stunning programme, conducted by Tore Kloster and with string quartet.
Saint-Saëns “Juleoratorium” and Charpentier “Messe de Minuit pour Noël”. An early chance to fill up on beautiful Christmas music! I’m also playing a solo piece; Purcell’s Voluntary for Double organ in G, a personal favourite and one of the greatest keyboard pieces from the English Baroque.

Robin gives the Sunday pre-evensong concert in St John’s College Chapel.
For this performance Robin has chosen to play a single work - Julius Reubke’s Sonata for organ on the 94th Psalm. This stand-out work of the Romantic organ repertoire uses the full range of the organ and carries the listener through a journey of emotion.
Concert attendees are welcome and encouraged to stay for Evensong sung by the world famous chapel choir, which follows directly after the concert, and will finish at approximately 7.30pm.
